July 1st thru the 14th, 2010 - Emotion

Can you believe its July already? Wow. Time is just running away this year, we are already over half way through the year. Amazing.

This bi-monthly assignment involves grabbing your camera. I would like to see you take some pictures that involve emotion! Let your camera go every where with you for the next couple of weeks, while you look for emotion in people or animals. Make sure your pic has a lot of emotion. Use props, have your subjects break out their acting skills, or live in the moment, and capture when it happens. Its your choice. But capture a photo that shows your subject in an expression that is obvious what it is. If you are uncertain, ask a friend, do they see the emotion in the picture? Try and make your subjects eyes your focus. It doesnt have to be, but its neat to see what your eyes have to say about your emotion.

Wow, Chris ! Those photos are a-mazing!!! I want to know what the crowd staring upwards was staring at..obviously it was something death defying. The kid outside of the school bus is thrilled over something... Is school out for summer? The men and the water shot is a beautiful picture of team spirit and victory. All od them were so striking! I think I am going to do a layout with some of these pictures. Where did you get these pictures, Chris? What is the protocol for using a picture from the internet?

You ladies have come up with some great pictures. I sure love the one with the angry lil girl. I can so related, my daughter is the same way. she pitches a fit over everything. lol.

the cats are super cute too. we have a cat, and they are sure full of personality.

I have to say, I am loving to see these pictures used in layouts, that makes them soo much more fun.

as for the picture usage. all of my pics came from flickr. I dont know what the copyright is on all pics. usually as long as you are not using them for resale of some sort, or are making money on them, you are usually fine. I always make sure to give credit, so that people know that they are not mine, and I am not trying to take credit for it.
